Helping Hand Grant Program

The Helping Hand Grant Program provides grants to families and individuals in-need to attend the Annual Family Conference. Our goal is to help as many families as possible. Please only request what is needed to make your attendance possible so we can help as many families as possible. Note: Travel is not covered.

Grant funds are only available for to cover conference registration and hotel during the conference; they may not be used for additional nights at the hotel. Travel will not be covered in 2018 due to the anticipated increase in requests this year. All Helping Hand Grant recipients are asked to fully participate in conference sessions.

“Attending conference changed everything for me. It’s an incredible feeling to bond with other families who understand what you are going through and are willing to hold your hand through it all..... it’s hard to sum it up.  The conference truly changed my life!”

“The support and guidance we received in the meetings was invaluable in helping us to stay on our feet, band together as a family and to continue to support her brother. There was so much comfort in knowing we were with other parents who completely understand the way we are feeling.”
