One of the hardest parts of living with Tay-Sachs, Canavan, Sandhoff and GM-1 is not knowing what to expect. While each child is different and each disease is different there are many commonalities. These are all progressive neurological disorders that profoundly affect children. The timeline of symptoms and severity varies but the issues and prognosis are the same.
