NTSAD's 55th Anniversary Galas

Nearly 300 friends of NTSAD contributed to successful evenings in Boston on November 1st and in Newark on December 5th.

More than $160,000 was raised that will benefit NTSAD's mission to support research while caring for our families.

Our honorees, Emil Kakkis and Henri Termeer, spoke eloquently about how the people affected by rare genetic diseases had an impact on their experiences. NTSAD's President, Kevin Romer, NTSAD parents Blyth Lord, Tim Lord and Shari Ungerleider shared their personal stories. Guests left both galas understanding the personal dedication of parents who drew strength from their NTSAD family and now commit to making the future better for others.

A special thank you to the committees for their time and dedication to make both of these evenings memorable. We would also like to recognize STAGE TEN, the Walnut Hill School of the Arts a cappella group, Stephen Bogardus and the DreamYard Prep Vocal Ensemble for their uplifting performances.

However, it truly was the friends, families, and colleagues who attended that made both evenings a wonderful experience.

We are grateful to Dan Kirschner and Bart Gorin for capturing the evening's moments through photographs.
