WORLDWIDE CANDLE LIGHTING HONORS AND REMEMBERS OUR LOST CHILDREN

On Sunday December 9 th The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting unites family and friends around the globe as they light candles for one hour to honor and remember children who have died at any age from any cause. As candles are lit at 7 p.m. local time, hundreds of thousands of persons commemorate and honor children in a way that transcends all ethnic, cultural, religious, and political boundaries. The pain of loss is intense
It reminds us of the depth of our love

To comfort our sorrow
To comfort each other
To change our lives.

For the times we laughed
For the times we cried

For the times we were angry with each other
For the silly things we did
For the caring and joy we had

Our candles are reflections of our love
To cherish that special place in our hearts
That will always be reserved for them
To thank them for the gift that their lives
Brought to each of us.
