Silent Auction & Helping Hand Cookbook Important Reminders!!

Auction Items Needed!!!

If you have or know someone who has auction items to donate to NTSAD's 50 th Anniversary Silent Auction, please go to http://NTSAD50.cmarket.com and click on Donate an Item . We are looking for memorabilia (sports, entertainment), jewelry, vacation packages, wine, theater, concert or sporting event tickets, fine dining in the Boston-NY-Philadelphia-DC area and other fine items. The online auction will go live on September 18, 2007 and will be completed during the live silent auction at the event in NYC.

NTSAD Helping Hand Cookbook - Deadline August 31, 2007 !

Let's Get Cookin'

The NTSAD Helping Hand Cookbook is heatin' up! Have you contributed your favorite recipes with your NTSAD family? PSG Members need your help today to make an unforgettable cookbook and the perfect choice for holiday gift giving! All proceeds from the Helping Hand Cookbook will benefit the Helping Hand Grant Fund to provide PSG members a ‘helping hand' with the expense of attending the 30 th Annual Family Conference March 27-30, 2008 in sunny Tampa , FL at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina .

Start submitting recipes today! Three easy options are available to suit your needs:

•Email Lisa Wivell at lisawivell@yahoo.com with ‘Cookbook' in the subject line to request a contributor username and password. Lisa will add you as a contributor to the Helping Hand Cookbook and then Heritage Cookbooks (our premier vendor) will send you a user name and password. As a contributor you will be able to add and edit recipes at anytime. Committee members will then verify spelling, measurements, and categories for accuracy so don't worry about this at all from a data entry standpoint.

Be sure to submit your contact information if we need to reach you with questions or clarifications. If you are interested in adding a personal note to go with recipe, please submit that as well.

ALL RECIPES MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN AUGUST 31, 2007 .

Recipes will likely be divided into the following categories: Appetizers, Soups, Salads, Beverages, Vegetables, Side Dishes, Meat and Game, Fish and Seafood, Poultry, Baked Goods, Desserts and Other. Final categories will be determined after receiving recipes. Don't forget to include the category, the Name of the Recipe, Your Name, Contact Information, Recipe measurements & ingredients and a note dedicated to your loved one. Please use all lower case abbreviations except for tablespoon, please use T.

There is NO LIMIT as to the number of recipes you may submit but the common practice is to sell at least 2 cookbooks per recipe submission. If we can begin entering recipes soon to meet our 8/31 deadline, we hope to have the finished copies and in plenty of time for holiday gift giving.
