If you do not have a PayPal account, you will need to create one. It is fast, easy and secure and provides 100% protection against unauthorized payments. PayPal also allows you to make automatic donations.

Keepsake Bracelets

The NTSAD keepsake bracelet was designed to celebrate the many achievements that have occurred during its 50 year history. The bracelet consists of five sets of Swarovski crystals which represent each decade of NTSAD - with the three crystals in each set symbolizing compassion, hope and progress - the dreams of the founding parents.

Each tribute received is acknowledged. Please be sure to let us know the name and address of the person you would like us to notify as well as how you would like your gift to be acknowledged.

Matching Gifts

A matching gift is an effective way to magnify your personal contribution to NTSAD. Ask your employer or someone in your company’s human resource department about the company’s matching gift program. If you include a matching gift form with your contribution, we will complete the form and return it as directed.

Stock Donations

You may make a gift to NTSAD by donating stock. You are entitled to a charitable deduction for the full, fair-market value of the stock at the time you sign its ownership to NTSAD. The donated stock is not taxed on any appreciation and there is no capital gains tax n stock transfers to NTSAD. Major Gifts

We encourage you to consider making a major gift in support of NTSAD, one of the oldest grassroots organizations of its kind to help people of all ages impacted by Tay-Sachs and all the allied diseases. Your major gift will go a long way toward furthering our mission of providing family support services, promoting researching, professional and public education and prevention.

You can support the entire mission of NTSAD by making a general donation or by making a gift to support a specific program or service, such as the Annual Family Conference, professional symposia and research efforts.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Help defray the ever-increasing cost of publishing Lifeline, a quarterly member to member newsletter, educational brochures and other materials including Breakthrough, our annual educational newsletter. The Annual Family Conference also provides unique opportunities to sponsor specific programs and amenities that support the families and individuals struggling with the allied diseases. Include NTSAD in Your Will

While you are making plans for your estate to benefit your family, we hope you will consider including a legacy gift to ensure NTSAD remains the vital organization that families and individuals impacted by Tay-Sachs and other allied disease will continue to need in the coming years. Planned gifts can be made in a specific dollar amounts or percentage of an estate or personal assets. Fundraising Events

By hosting a fundraising event for NTSAD, you follow in the footsteps of many volunteers over the past 50 years who have initiated grassroots events to form the financial groundwork for this organization. Volunteers have hosted a variety of fundraising events, including sales of all kinds, golf tournaments, letter campaigns and benefit dinners.

Help families and individuals attend the Annual Family Conference!

NTSAD is proud to offer scholarships to families and individuals who want to attend the Annual Family Conference but need a helping hand with the expenses through the Helping Hand Grant Fund. Each year the need for assistance increases and we need your help to raise these much needed dollars. Support can be given three ways:

  • Purchase high-quality Sally Foster gift-wrap, gifts and chocolates and sweets at

    The store is open July 1 through January 15;
  • Buy Helping Hand Grant Raffle tickets by contacting Director of Member Services, Kim Crawford at Kim@ntsad.org or 800.906.8723. Tickets are available October 15 through April 21; or
  • Simply designate your gift to the NTSAD Helping Hand Grant Fund.

American Express

United Way

Pre-tax donations to NTSAD can also be made through regular United Way contributions at work. This is an easy and simple way to stretch your donation dollars. Speak with your employer’s human resources representative for details. Please contact the national office if you wish to designate your United Way donations to annual membership dues.

Federal Campaign

Attention federal employees: NTSAD is now eligible to participate in the 2006 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)! NTSAD appears in the listing of “National/International Organizations” which is published in each local campaign brochure. The CFC identification number for NTSAD is 1030.
